ECOTIFE 2025

The ECOWAS Trade and Investment Forum and Exhibition (ECOTIFE), held from 7–16 November 2025 within the Lagos International Trade Fair, provided a dedicated platform for advancing regional trade, investment, private-sector collaboration and business opportunities. The ECOWAS Pavilion hosted five high-level panel sessions that convened Ministers, Ambassadors, the Trade Promotion Organisation Network (TPON), Senior officials, and private-sector leaders to address priority themes in West Africa’s economic integration.

The Forum was further enhanced by a vibrant fashion show celebrating West African creativity and cultural identity, which added significant visibility and dynamism to the event. Following the high-level sessions on 7–8 November, the Pavilion further hosted an exhibition from 9–15 November featuring SMEs from across the region. During the exhibition period, the Commission received school groups for educational briefings on the role of ECOWAS and organised sides events in collaboration with UNDP and FEBWE. Over the seven days, the Pavilion welcomed more than 5,000 visitors including exhibitors, private-sector representatives, development partners, and members of the general public. Products showcased included agro-processed foods, artisanal beverages, fashion and accessories, cosmetics and wellness items, and other value-added goods, demonstrating the diversity and potential of West African industries. The Pavilion also convened the ECOWAS Trade Promotion Organisation (TPO) Network and supported SMEs from ECOWAS Member States to showcase their products.
