ECOWAS has number of Trade and related legal instruments and has also entered into several trade agreements at the regional level. The legal instruments comprise protocols, supplementary protocols, decisions, directives, supplementary acts and regulations.
The trade agreements are mainly multilateral, continental and bilateral in nature. Some of the existing agreements and legal instruments have been catalogued in this section for ease of reference.
